Founded in 2019 by partners Adriano Almeida, Rodolfo Fonzar and Daniela Durán, who after 15 years working in and contributing to the Surety Bond segment, aimed to support their future clients, the insurance market and related parties in resolving issues and problems related to the judicial surety ecosystem in Brazil.
In 2024, Itaú Unibanco, Brazil’s largest private bank, announced an agreement to acquire Avita in order to expand its operations in the guarantee insurance market. As a result, Itaú Unibanco joined the company as a partner.
